Sensible Land Use Coalition recognizes that board members who have resigned from the Board of Directors after giving a significant commitment to the organization through distinguished service may be appointed to the Trustees Council in order to provide a continued contribution to the organization.

The Trustee Council was created to serve as a connection and opportunity to continue to serve and to be served. To be eligible for consideration for trustee status, an individual must have ten (10) years of cumulative service on the Sensible Land Use Coalition Board.  Trustees are approved by the full Board.

Bob is a nationally recognized developer of residential communities including:
The Woodlands, Great Oaks, Deerwood and Wildflower in Eagan.

His career has touched on all aspects of development and throughout he has been a leader in local and national land use organizations, including ULI the Urban Land Institute where he is a life trustee, BATC and many conservation and environmental task forces and groups.

Bob was a SLUC board member from 1998 and chaired numerous high profile programs including UMore Park and Conservation Design.  In 2013, Bob became the first board member to be honored as a Trustee Council member.

Tim Keane assisted Robert Hoffman and Moe Dorton in founding SLUC in the early 1980s. He has over 30 years of land use experience as city planner, developer's counsel, city attorney, real estate attorney, and eminent domain counsel.

Tim has worked on preparing SLUC programs for over 25 years, applying his in-depth knowledge of the industry and regional leaders to achieve highly successful programs.  He was appointed to the Trustee Council in 2013.

Terry Schneider has been a member of the Sensible Land Use Coalition Board of Directors since 1995.  As a board member, Terry assisted in the development of monthly educational programs that address the challenges affecting housing, commercial and industrial development, revitalization of core cities, transportation systems and regulation.   Terry was a driving force in promoting SLUC’s educational mission by recruiting quality speakers and developing valuable content that works to build relationships between public and private sector stakeholders. Terry added a unique perspective to the board in his dual role as development consultant and elected official.  He served as the Treasurer of the board for the past 16 years.
