The relevancy of planned unit developments (PUD) is the consummate land development conundrum.  Join Sensible Land Use Coalition for a panel discussion covering PUDs from a variety of perspectives including legal, municipal, and private developer. The panel of experts will discuss and debate key matters involving planned unit developments.  Topic Highlights:

·         A legal overview of PUDs, including explanation of statutes and rules, different City requirements, and the use of zoning vs. conditional use permit

·         A City planner’s perspective of the application of PUDs, reasons for and examples of their implementation

·         Private land developers’ experiences with PUDs - the good, the bad, and the ugly

·         Are planned unit developments a tool or a road block?

·         When, why, and how are they used throughout the Twin Cities market.
