Extreme Neighborhood Makeover

Nobody likes change and the demolition of an existing home in an established neighborhood, and replacing it with one or two new homes can cause great angst. This angst rains down on developers, city staff and city councils. The challenge is how can redevelopment be done so that it works for everyone?

This program will present a robust discussion of the challenges relating to public policy, market demands, economic and property rights issues and increased neighborhood opposition to any activity that would be perceived as a change to their neighborhood due to infill development-redevelopment of existing neighborhoods.
